Two U-Dream Global project directors have been reportedly killed in Tanzania following a crash when flying a light aircraft registered in South Africa- said the organization
“U Dream Global: Cape to Cairo Challenge is saddened to report that there has been a mishap of the flight bolster air ship and that the Project Directors, Des Werner and Werner Froneman, have lost their lives,” a short articulation on their Facebook page said.
“Nobody else was engaged with the mishap. We sympathetically demand everyone’s understanding at this staggeringly troublesome time.
“Our affection and contemplations go to Des and Werner’s loved ones.”
U Dream Global is a program established by Megan Werner, the little girl of Des Werner, to advance and encourage development among youngsters.
Their vision was to construct and fly a plane from Cape to Cairo.
Sympathies were pouring in after the announcement was posted.
On July 8, the group of teenagers landed securely in Cairo.
Representative for the Department of International Relations and Cooperation Clayson Manyela affirmed the disaster.
