The Federal Government of Nigeria has proclaimed Monday 11th November, 2019 as a Public Holiday to recognize the 2019 Eid-ul-Mawlud in remembrance of the birthday of the Holy Prophet Muhammad.
This was made known to the general public by Mr. Mohammed Manga, Director Press and Public Relations of the Ministry of Interior, in an announcement on Thursday in Abuja.
In the announcement, the Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, saluted the Muslim devoted on the event and encouraged them to live on the excellencies and lessons of the Prophet.
He said following the Prophet’s ideals of affection, mental fortitude, and constancy would ensure harmony and security in the nation.
Aregbesola communicated certainty that the difficulties defying Nigeria right now would before long be finished and in this way asked Nigerians to stay focused and determined.
In addition, He gave the assurance that with the massive possibilities the nation is enriched with; combined with its human and natural resources, Nigeria will sooner than later reach the level of developed countries.
Finally, he said that the administration’s desire is to guarantee a serene and secure condition for all Nigerians.
