The Nigerian government has commenced a service-wide training on the performance management systems for officials in the country’s public service
The training was declared open by the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan at the Public Service Institute of Nigeria(PSIN)

According to Yemi-Esan;
“The training is expected to train public officers on objective setting, organisational performance, service delivery as well as public accountability”.
Dr. Yemi-Esan also added that the federal government is in partnership with the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria(CIPM) to ensure that the training is carried out effectively.
